The purpose of this article is to educate people that there are children and parents being split up from each other due to Trumps policy of people coming into the country illegally. Because of this shelter space is being given to children that are under the age of 12.
The article tends to not be biased on the situation but tries to focus not he issue at hand which is that the children are being separated from here parents without consent. The articles gives examples of interviews and photos to exhibit what is actually happening.

The title of this article as mentioned before is What’s Behind the ‘Tender Age’ Shelters Opening for Young Migrants". This title catches the eye because of the words "Young Migrants". The issue with DACA and illegal immigrants opened up many opinions and this article is one way that people can read about what is happening with the situation.
After looking at many other news articles on that site, they all seem believable. Not only that but this issue has been on many other news providers such as CNN, NPR, Time and others verifying that it in fact is a real news article.
In conclusion, it is my belief that this news article is real. After realizing that this news is on not only New York Times, but also many other reliable news providers, I read the article in more depth and saw that the article was not really biased but wanted to make its point by giving facts and or statistics to help exhibit why the information given in the article is true and should be taken into thought. Though it may have a catchy headline, it is a good thing, because it makes people want to read the article and get educated on what it going on with Trump and the illegal immigrants.
