- The main enlightenment ideas that played a major role in the Haitian revolution was the fight for men equality and a representative government

- Eventually, the slaves decide to revolt and rebel for their fight for their own liberty and freedom. This challenged existing norms because they destroyed many buildings and their economy infrastructure, as well as killing thousands of white people for their liberty
- The result of the revolution is the Haitian people ultimately won independence from France and thereby became the first country to be founded by former slaves. People who benefitted were obviously the slaves but as well as the America benefitted from this because they were able to expand their slavery.
- The global interaction of these enlightenment ideas are the fact that america was able to expand slavery and also setting up latin colonies to revolt on their land
