My name is Geraldine Lillian Edwards Boock, I was born in Alberta, Canada, but grew up in Washington.
I started working in 1944 as a First Lieutenant, and I left to go home in 1946, after World War 2.
During the war, I served in the Army Nurse Corps, and I worked on a lot of different sites, including Fort Lewis, and Palm Springs.
I feel like overall, I helped a lot of people, and I am really proud of what I did.
I think that most people think that I am a hero, because of the work that did to help others, and serve for our country.
