A vizier is a person who is chosen by the pharaoh, person in charge. The viziers have jobs like preparing tombs and helping the pharaoh govern.

After the Nile River over flows it leaves silt, soil that is great for growing crops.

As soon as someone new becomes pharaoh the viziers prepare his tomb. They fill it with things that the pharaoh thought he would need in the afterlife, such as jewelry, and food.

In Ancient Egypt the weather is always hot. The Nile River is also known as the gift of life, which is filled with water lilies. Egyptians depended on the Nile for transportation as well as water for crops, drinking, and bathing.

If an exciting event occurs Ancient Egyptians celebrate with a feast also known as a banquet where they usually drink beer and eat dates.
All Egyptians lived a happy life no matter how wealthy they were. Egyptians were polytheistic which means they believed in more than one god. Egyptians prayed to the gods and worshiped them no matter what happened.
