Storyboard Text

  • In the year 1346, it was the middle ages and the plague had just spread to Europe.
  • The disease was originally on rodents witch spread to the insects around them and then the humans
  • The insects and fleas infected the humans by biting them
  • Symptoms involved large black and red boils. It is very painful and most died within 72 hours. There was no cure and no way for them to relieve their pain.
  • The plague was responsible for approximately 20 million deaths, 1 third of medieval Europe's population.
  • The main reason the plague spread so quickly was, because of the uncleanliness of the people. They did not wash their hands and rarely was their bodies.
