Storyboard Text

  • Why peacock's feathers are colorful
  • 1000 Years ago. Most peacocks had regular white feathers and peacocks with colorful feathers were a major minority
  • Females mated with the males with colorful feathers, but their were only a few colorful feathred peacocks.
  • :(
  • Why do I have to marry this wierdo!
  • The colorful feathered peacocks come from a line of strong genes making them better for producing healthy offspring. So they were mated with more often.
  • Offspring
  • More of the females chose the males with brighter tails, the duller tailed peacock didn't mate and produce offspring so then they slowly died out.
  • Haha plebs
  • Eventually (many years later), all of the dull colored peacocks had died out leaving only colorful peacocks.
