It tells us how the African American people struggle to get their rights. it explains how they struggle by them getting some rights then they got blocked by another law or something like that, and it would be a back and forth process of that until they finally got their rights.

- How has the struggle for freedom changed throughout history from the speech what is the fourth of July to the slave? The struggle was shown by the whites not accepting the blacks as a person. They asked a free slave what the fourth of July was to him and he said that the fourth is nothing special to slaves because the slaves don't have freedom, and the fourth the freedom of America.
