  • Rising action
  • The headless horseman is a huge topic for the people of Tarry Town. People everywhere talk of his trips around town, throwing a pumpkin at anyone that got in his way.
  • Climax
  • Ichabod, wait!! Let me exp..."
  • Ichabod was a very nice, young man who lived in Tarry Town. Ichabod loved ghost stories, but even more then he loved ghost stories, he loved Katrina Van Tassel. Katrina was a student at the local school, and the daughter to one of the richest people in Tarry Town, though he did not quite know.
  • Falling Action
  • One day, Ichabod received an invitation to a party at the Van Tassels home. He was full of joy and was excited to be given the opportunity to tell Katrina about his feelings for her. But when he arrived he was excited to find out that if she said yes to him, about marriage that he would become very very wealthy and started getting ideas about what he would do with such money.
  • But little did Ichabod know that she did not have the same feelings for him. Ichabod left, ran away and started walking through the woods. Sleepy Hollow was a dark and scary area to walk through, especially at night. Mostly because the Headless Horseman haunted Sleepy Hollow.
  • I finally was gonna get out of this poor life but... NOO!
  • Sadly for Ichabod, running through the forest at night fall just is not a good idea if you can not defend yourself against the Headless Horseman, yet he had not realized where he was going. That was until he was encountered by the Headless Horseman himself.
  • Ichabod still angry about his fantasy that never came true, and freaked out because he was being chased by the Headless Horseman, kept running, until he stopped, and fell. Was he gone? DId he die? Still to this day, nobody knows. His greed is told to of gotten in his way and could not run past it. So stopped, and rumor has it that the Headless Horseman killed him right there, on the spot.
