During the championship football game versus their rival, Foothill, Mick Johnson had the game on the line. All he had to do was beat the linebacker 1 on 1 to get the win. Unfortunately, the grass slipped out from under him and the linebacker drove him down to the ground. This made Mick encouraged to become a better athlete and not have the same thing happen next year.
Mick decides to use his dad's gym membership to work out daily with a personal trainer (Peter). He develops a routine and shows up to work on his strength daily.
Propels The Action By...
In the end, Mick ends up going to his gym trainer (Peter) to see if he can get some steroids to boost his strength and stamina to make him unbeatable on the football field. He does this because he realizes how much work it is to go to the gym every day and train only to get little results at a time.
Mick's dad was a phenomenal football player. At an early age, Mick was learning how to play football with his dad, in hope of being as a good as him one day.
After practicing and being very talented his whole life, Mick tries out for the JV/Varsity football team at his school. When he is there, he realizes that there may actually be competition for the first time in his life.
Mick made the team! He goes home to tell his parents and they are both very proud of him and his hard work. He now knows that he has the potential to be a great football star like his dad.
