7 Prazar, Mariko Exponents Mini Project

Storyboard Text

  • When multiplying numbers with the same base, keep the base the same and add the exponents.
  • So x^7 times x^3 is x^10!
  • So d^6/d is d^5!
  • When dividing two numbers with the same base, keep the base the some and subtract the exponents.
  • When dividing two numbers with the same base, keep the base the some and subtract the exponents.
  • When you raise a power to a power, keep the base the same and multiply the exponents.
  • So (r^8)^5 is r^40!
  • So d^6/d is d^5!
  • When any number has an exponent of 0, then that number = 1.
  • So n^0 = 1!
