Follow furs and hunt buffalo.... Beaver supplies were low which caused First Nations to move out and to find more. Newcomers hunted buffalo and the population quickly dropped.
Depend on European goods..The First Nations used to meet their needs with the environment around them. The ones that were involved in the fur trade began to use goods that only traders could supply.
Loss of language.. French and English became dominant as languages and the Aboriginal language slowly began to fade.
