  • Why the barn and the horse are important
  • The horse, Mickey Mouse, was a horse Sodapop cared about and always wanted the horse itself. Sadly Mickey got shipped off.
  • "Sodapop has dark gold hair"(Hinton 7)."Eyes are dark brown"(Hinton 8). "Not as tall as Darry, a little slimmer" (Hinton 7)."Finely drawn and sensitive face" (Hinton7).
  • Both are important because of the fact that, Sodapop cared for Mickey Mouse like he was his own horse, he always wanted a horse of his own as well.
