During the Han dynasty most of the land in China was ruled by lords. Peasants worked the land of the lords which made the lords grow stronger but kept the peasants poor.
The peasants eventually moved on from their previous religion of confucianism and converted to the philosophy of daoism, sparking war between lords. This fighting eventually led to the end of the Han dynasty.
After the peasants started to rebel, local warlords began to fight amongst each other after the peasants started rebelling, leading to the end of the Han dynasty.
In northern China, a inspector general named General Taizu seized the throne in northern China. He was eventually conquered and only southern china remained.

China flourished during the time on the SOng dynasty and became what china´s people called a golden age. It led to a growth in restaurants, food markets, theaters, and seasonal festivals.
