  • Let's move west passed the mountains....hopefully the natives don't notice and get mad at us.
  • What happened throughout the War
  • Charge!!!!
  • What happened throughout the War
  • The silly british don't know what's about to hit them!!
  • Causes of the French and Indian War are the English and French were expanding west of the Appalachian Mountians. Everyone wanted that territory and the Natives were already there. The French was also threatening the English. This got the English mad making them plan an attack on the French. Then Fort Neccesity was made and conquered. King James then declared war.
  • Positive Consequences for the colonists
  • France had the upper hand for the first 3 years of the war. Then new strategies were made for both the French and the English. Then an outbreak of smallpox went around and killed a large population of the French people. This put them at a major disadvantage ending with them losing the war. There were many France hostilities around still. England ended up getting all of Canada from France.
  • Positive Consequences for the British colonies
  • Another major event of the French and Indian War was the making of Fort Duquesne. Fort Duquesne was made by the French which was going to be used as a main source to house and train a militia to take down the English. Fort Duquesne was very powerful and the  English could not take it over after many attacks.
  • Negative Consequences for the colonists
  • Where'd our money go?
  • Posititve consequences for the british and the colonists are  they gained a lot of military experience. They were prepared for many future battles. With this experience the fought in the war and came out with the result of winning the war.
  • Another positive consequence was they ended up claiming a lot of Canada from the French. They also then invaded the Natives area and took a lot of area west of the Applachian Mountains. This made England very successful.
  • Negative consequences of the war were the amount of debt England was in. They lost most of their money resulting with taxing the colonists. The colonists did not like being taxed considering their money was just being brought back to England. The relationship between the colonists and the british then chnaged. They began to seperate from each other and become more independent.
