  • the protective tarrif basicly, put a tax on imprted good from other countries, attempting to get people to buy more american made products but this gravely afected people from the southe who are more agacutural based. this jackson did not know at the tme and would later become somthing greater

  • This was where the meet in south carolina took place, where calhoun stated his Proposal on the protective tariff law and how he had a nother idea on how to aprotche the situation other than void the law. and this eventualy lead him to becomeing senetor.

  • Henry and calhoun are trying to make an effort to try and come up with a compromise for the law of protective tariffs instead of voiding it, so calhoun asked henery and henry starts wrighting and it takes him a bit but in the end he comes up with the compromise tariff of 1833, witch ultemately leads jackson and south carolina to an agreement.
