  • How did the oil boom affect national oil markets and local governments ?
  • Why did labor unions grow in Texas , and what led to their delcate ?  
  • The livestock was brought to Texas in most of the early entrades , or colonization attempts , including for instance , those of Jose de Escdon . The animals included major livestock (ganado mayor) - cattle , horses , mules , and burros -as well sheep , goats , and swine (ganado mayor).
  • June 15th , 2010 ...desdemona , Texas , in the midst of it's oil boom .
  • Short-lived labor unions were established by printers , and carpenters in Houston during the Republican Texas , and in "wingman's" or "Mechanic's" associations , more along the lines of benevolent societies , were constitutided in Houston , Galveston , Austin ,and New Braunfels before 1860 .
