  •  "Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?" Pg.6
  • After this, a quarrel starts in the city of Verona and disrupts the peace. 
  • Act 1 Scene 1
  • "I do bite my thumb, sir" Pg.6
  • In this square, Benvolio is telling Romeo to attend the feast so he can compare Rosalina to the other beautiful women of Verona.
  • "Tut, you saw her fair, none else being by, herself poised with herself in either eye: but in crystal scales let there be weigh'd your ladies love against some other maid that I will show you shining at this feast, and she shall scant show well that now shows best." Pg. 10
  • Act 1 Scene 2
  •  "I’ll go along, no such sight to be shown, but to rejoice in splendor of mine own." Pg. 10
  • Here, Lady Capulet (Juliet's mom) is convincing Juliet to marry Paris even though she is only thirteen, but Juliet disagrees.
  • "Marry, that “marry” is the very theme I came to talk of. Tell me, daughter Juliet, how stands your disposition to be married?" Pg.11
  • Act 1 Scene3
  • "It is an honour that I dream not of." Pg.11
  • In this scene, Romeo and Mercutio are on their way to the ball, and they were talking to each other about girls (Queen Mab) and dreams they had.
  • Act 1 Scene 4
  • "And so did I."...
  •  "That dreamers often lie."... Pg. 12
  • "Well, what was yours?"...
  • "I dream’d a dream to-night."...
  • "In bed asleep, while they do dream things true." Pg. 12
  • Now, Romeo saw Juliet and knew she was her true love and asked to kiss her. He later found out that she was a capulet. Juliet: "Then have my lips the sin that they have took." Romeo: "Sin from thy lips? O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin again." Pg.14
