  • We want our rights.
  • You will sign the Magna Carta now!
  • We our going into a new land away from the British. We must work together for the common good and protect each other. Lets sign this compact to show our promise.
  • The founding fathers are creating ideas for what to write into the constitution.

  • In order for you to get the throne you must sign this further limiting your power and giving everybody their rights.
  • The Barons forcing King John to sign the Magna Carta in 1215 limiting the king's power and giving the nobles rights.

  • It's just common sense that we declare independence from England!

  • The pilgrims  in 1620 made an agreement to rule themselves and to work together for the greater good and protect each other.
  • William and Mary signing the English Bill of Rights in order to get the crown from King James II in 1689 further limiting the powers of a king and giving everyone basic rights. 
  • Thomas Paine convinced a lot of colonists to rebel against England and that we should separate from them through a pamphlet he wrote using words that are easy to understand in 1776. 
  • The founding fathers got many ideas from the documents. Including the idea of one person having too much power. So they separated the powers of government into three branches. Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. Separation of Powers
