Storyboard Text

  • “The weather can get cold anywhere.”
  • While my family and I were getting ready to go to Arkansas my Uncle Ian walked up to me and gave me a warm coat.
  • “Does the weather get cold in Arkansas?” I asked. I have studied America and found out that that there is a   north and a south pole. In the south its warm and in the   north it is cold.
  • Once uncle Ian said that I wasn't so sure what he was talking about
  • “Welcome to Alaska, Adrian.”
  • “Is Alaska in Arkansas?” I asked her.
  • As I saw from the map America was really big. I noticed that Alaska was to the North from all the rest of America. We were also torwards the northern part of Alaska.
  • She showed me a map on the wall behind her, then tapped a spot. “Here we are.”
  • “I am from Brasov, in Romania. Brasov is past the forest. We call this area Transylvania.
  • When I walked in the class the teacher told me to tell the class a little bit about myself. I decided to tell them about where I lived before I came here.
  • When I said I lived in Brasov by Transylvania the girl in the back looked up really fast. The two boys in the front whispered to each other and nodded.
  • When I smiled, I noticed that they both stared at my teeth.
  • Jonas kept staring at my reflection and waving his hand behind my head.
  • "Doesn’t that sound irresistible?”
  • “Pizza is great.”
  • Jonas shook a lot of garlic on the pizza. He shook it so hard that he even got some on me.
  • “Garlic powder?”
  • It has red, red sauce. As red as blood. Hot, salty blood with little chunks that are just like clots."
  • “So, how do you like it here?” “And very convenient, wouldn’t you say? Dark for days on end. No sunlight to ruin things? No chance of turning into a smoldering pile of ashes. Eh, Vlad?”
  • I walked back to  my house the girl that was in the back of the classroom was at my house.
  •  She was talking to me said that I was so irresistible and I was so strong, so silent and so powerful.
  • After that she kissed me and then I kissed her back. I kissed her because she was so pretty nd I likes her since I walked into the classroom.
  • Since I have new friends and like it here in Alaska I think I might want to live here longer.
  • It will all work out. Before, I pulled up stakes. Now I am putting down roots. In this magical land of dark and light. Thank you for sending me here, Uncle Ian. I forgive you.
  • Maybe Jonas and Mack can help me learn more about American Girls and help me find out the best way to tell Zinah that I'm not a vampire.
