  • plants take in CO2  and use it as food!
  • Carbon Dioxide is in the air
  • Oxygen is released
  • Light is captured by chloroplast 
  • As I eat this grass, I receive carbon. Then when I breathe, I release CO2 in the air.
  • After photosynthesis occurs, another process called Cellular Respiration happens
  • When the bunny dies, the mushroom breaks down the dead body. As a result, the carbon inside the animal will be released in the atmosphere. The mushroom is an example of a decomposer.
  • Cars are a prime example of fossil fuels because they burn gas to transport. When the fossil fuels are being used, they release carbon dioxide back into the air. Since cars are a common method of transportation, burned fossil fuels are added back into the air daily.
  • Animals and Humans use oxygen to breathe!
  • The Carbon Cycle starts again and continues over and over!
