  •    how did the oil boom affect national oil markets and local communities? The oil boom made prices drop for oil a lot and caused the creation of boomtowns where men worked in a dangerous The oil boom caused Texas towns to grow  all over the texas landscape
  • why was the arrival of texas rail lines important to farmers The rail lines arriving in texas was important because they had a new method of transporting cattle and other goods to stockyards in fort worth and other places meaning they didn't have to take several days to transport cattle over 500 miles in some cases.

The drag riders ride behind the herd to keep it moving, pushing the slower animals forward. This is a bad job as it was exhausting and for green cowboys the wrangler is the one who takes care of the horses making sure they are fed and ready to go
