That's what it looked like, Steve. I didn't hear any crash though.
Steve? The stove isn't working and all the power's out.
Don't talk that way, Tommy!
This is like the aliens from my comics. A family isn't what they seem they are and contacted the aliens
Okay, Pete Van Horn
Hey, I'll go check out the street nearby.
It was a sunny day on Maple Street when the town was struck by a "meteor". After the "meteor", the town's power stops working. Steve, Don, Mrs. Brand and several others have seen the meteor but don't think much of it. What's unusual is that even battery-operated items aren't working.
Pete Van Horn offers to go check out the street next door and Steve tries to start up his car but it doesn't work. While he's gone, Tommy, a 14-year-old boy, tells the residents about the comics he used to read. In these, there are aliens who make all the power disappear and one of the people among the good people aren't who they seem. Sally, Tommy's mother, and some of the residents don't believe it... for now.
