Antagonist- Genevieve (Gen)
Lara Jean just got back from a ski trip and is in complete shock. Hearing rumors that maybe Gen and Peter may have hooked up! It all comes down to Lara and Peter confronting each other.
Conflict- Character vs Character
Lara Jean is just a normal sixteen year old junior that lives in North Carolina. But she's not that popular only until she and Peter started "dating" she replaced Gen's spot. But Lara Jean doesn't let that effect her. Until she can't find her scrunchie.
Gen is Peter's ex, and is one of the most popular people in the school. But, once Peter and Gen broke up she wasn't so popular. Gen is trying to ruin Peter's and Lara Jean's relationship so she can have Peter all she wants.
The conflict here is Gen trying to take Lara Jean away from Peter. But, Peter doesn't want that he's happy with Lara Jean. Lara Jean keeps getting the worse out of it because Gen keeps messing with her, or trying to get in her head.
The theme is true love is a strong unescapable emotion.
