This is midas thinking to himself if he should give up his golden touch to live a normal lifestyle with the gold he has already had. He talks to his girlfriend about it asking if he should give it up. The theme is that if you dont think something is right dont do it or stop doing it

In this scene Midas comes across a strange man dressed in dark clothing who claims that the water will undo his curse. Midas test it out and confirms it works, and thanks the man. Midas bows, and when he gets up the man has vanished.

This is midas after his girlfriend says he can not eat a potato without it turning into gold. Midas tells her he can saying watch me eat this potato really fast. The irony of this is that he can not eat the potato, and that is exactly what happens it turns into gold before going down his throat
This is midas speaking to himself if he should give up his golden power. He wonders and cries thinking of himself and what he has done. The conflict here is external and internal because he wants to live a normal lifestyle but he has never lived one before, so he is unsure if he shoud switch or not
This is midas getting out of the magical water the man told him about. He gets in and gets out, and he is no longer gold. His emotions kicked in and he figured he would just live a ordinary lifestyle.
