Exposition: The exposition was when Steven was in class and writing a journal assignment, "what is the most annoying thing in the world?" This shows the exposition because this shows us the main character and this is the beginning of the story.

Rising Action: The rising action was when Steven was making Jeffrey some oatmeal. Then Jeffrey fell off the bar stool and started bleeding. This shows us the rising action because it is the step to the climax.
Climax: The climax was when Steven chose to go to the hospital with Jeffrey instead of playing in the All-City Concert. This is the climax because it the most interesting part of the book or when the main character changes dramatically.
The Falling Action: The falling action was when Steven and his friends went to the awards ceremony. He got "The Outstanding Musical Achievement Award! This is the Falling Action because it is the conclusion of the story.
The Conflict: The conflict in this story was Jeffry's cancer and all of the medical bills. This the conflict because this is the main problem in the story.
Resolution: The Resolution in this story was when Jeffrey was cured. Meaning his hair grew back and he was feeling much better. This is the resolution because this is when the main conflict is resolved or fixed.
