  • Newton's first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force. Just like this ball, it is on rest and it will stay in rest until i put a force on the ball.
  • The second law explains how the velocity of an object changes when it is subjected to an external force. The law defines a force to be equal to change in momentum (mass times velocity) per change in time.  So if i put more force on this ball it will travel faster and with more velocity.
  • The third law states that for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction. So there are two kinds of force on me at the moment, i am getting affected by the gravity and the air pressure at the same time, which means i can balance out my weight.
