During the Old Stone Age, or the Paleolithic Age, people called hunt and gatherers hunted for their food with weapons they made. They moved to new places if their food moved. They had temporary homes.
During this Neolithic Age, people settled in places where they could grow crops. They learned to plant seeds, and domesticate animals. AKA agriculture. People built permanent homes, usually able to withstand any weather conditions in the area. People lived close together, therefore forming communities.
After the agricultural revolution, life was improved. Nobody had to move around. People mainly focused on jobs like growing and building. They sailed on ships, going to other parts of the world, meeting new people and sharing ideas.
