Storyboard Text

  • Rock Cycle
  • Igneous rocks form from magma erupting from volcanoes and cooling off.
  • Sedimentary rocks form from erosion. Examples of sedimentary rocks are sand and mud.
  • Erosion is when specific elements (water and wind) construct or edit the shape of rocks causing them to become sedimentary.
  • Magma is exposed to underground cracks. The Magma then heats the other rocks and sediments around it causing all these rocks to become metamorphic rocks.
  • Any of the rocks can form into one another over time.
