  • The Battle of Brooklyn was a battle fought to win over New York. The British won the battle even though Washington tricked the British into thinking they were still in camp.
  • Winter at Valley Forge

  • The Battle of Trenton and Princeton was fought in New Jersey, Trenton on Chirstmas and Princeton on January 3rd. They were both fought with George Washington and America won both. Trenton was fought with Hessians and Princeton was fought with the British.They helped the Americans gain supplies and control of New Jersey
  • The Southern Campaign: Cowpens and Guilford Courthouse

  • Both of these battles were fought with Horatio Gates and Benedict Arnold as the American Generals and General Burgoyne as the British General. Freeman's Farm was won by the British and Bernis Hills was won by the Americans. They were both fought with the British trying to invade New York. Freeman's farm was a pyrrhic victory.

  • The Winter at Valley Forge was a time where soldiers were taught how to train. In the North part of Philadelphia. The soldiers were housed in temparary housing and had very little clothing. Although many died, Baron von Steuben still was able to teach the army different things. George Washington ordered al his men to be given the Smallpox vaccine and Martha Washington held parties and gave supplies to the troops.

  • Cowpens was the battle fought with General Nathaneal Greene and Lieutenant Colonel Banaste Tarleton. The British wanted to spread influence to the loyalists in the south. The troops were placed on a slope for better aim.  This battle was won by the Americans Guildford Courthose was the fought on March 15, 1781 and was fought between General Charles Cappwallis of the British and Major General Nathaneal Greene. The Battle was won by the British in a pyhric victory.

  • The Siege of Yorktown was the last battle of the revolution. On that day, Cornwallis, the British General vowed never to return again. With the French help, they blockaded the port and without supplies, the British lost on October 16, 1781.
