Some prime examples are when he came home acting way differently because julian the ¨wonder kid¨ was making auggie feel uncomfortable by making fun of the way he looked like and other things. Or the time when he found out that Mr. Tushman hired students to be auggies friend and he thought that summer was told to be his friend so he yelled at her in the lunchroom

In one scene where auggie overheard julians group of friends talk about auggie and saying some mean things about him. The thing that broke him the most is when jack or his best friend said that he would kill himself if he looked like auggie. In the next pages it´s auggie and his thoughts about the situation. He was crushed by this because jack will was his only friend but since he betrayed him auggie is moving on.
Auggies reactions effect him and the characters around a ton. Some examples is in the chapter where jack was talking about auggie behind his back and auggie overheard what jack had to say about him and he brought all his anger home to his mother and his sister.
Auggies speech interconnects with the other elements of characterization. The way auggies speech and tone that he uses towards other characters in the novel is actions. He uses a aggressive tone towards his mom and sister for some questionable reason. Also his speech can affect the others the way they think about him like the first encounter summer and auggie had was by summer sitting with him and auggie thought that summer was told to be friends with auggie because the others will refuse to be friends with him.
