Our 1950s scene in our school play about Sylvia Park School
Sandra is getting ready for her first day at school. Her mum and dad come into the room to talk to her
Mr Plumber (principal) is opening the school at a ceremony. There are many children, families and teachers around
Inside Sandra's classroom. We meet her teacher. Sandra makes some friends. The teacher introduces the students to some of the new technology in the class.
The bell rings and the children go outside to play. They hear building of the Southern Motorway in the distance!
Back inside the classroom, the teacher introduces a topic about 'looking into the future' and students talk about what they think will happen in the future!
The lighting fades out and all the students gather to sing the Te Manawa 1 song
