- (1)"But Rainsford what about the animals, they have feelings just like we do."
- Rainsford and Whitney go hunting
- (2)"Nonsense Whitney, animals do not feel anything. besides hunting is the best sport there is!"
- (1)"What was that?!"
- Rainsford & Whitney get to ship trap island. They decide to sleep on the boat the first night. Then hear gun shots.
- (2)"I think I came from the island"
- 3 shots fired
- (1) Hello, I am Rainsford I came onto the island because I heard some shots were fired. Is everything alight?"
- Rainsford goes on the island and meets General Zaroff. The owner of the island
- (2) "Hello, I am General Zaroff. I am the owner of this island. I was the one who making all the noise. I was hunting. Would you like to come join me for some supper?"
- (1)! Ive hunted all over the world Rainsford, but Hunting animals has gotten a bit boring. This is why I wanted to hunt a different kind of species. Something smarter and better!"
- General Zaroff tells Rainsford that he hunts people on the island. He invites Rainsford to come hunt people with him
- (3)"yes! would you like to go hunting with me?"
- (2)"are you talking about hunting people?!"
- (4)"NO! that is crazy"
- The General is hunting Rainsford. Zaroff had seen Rainsford already but he wanted to make the hunt longer and more exciting
- (3) "what is he doing?" (Rainsford now new what animals felt like when they were being hunted
- (1)"I wonder where he could be"
- (2)"Don't worry General, we will find him" (generals assistant)
- Rainsford outsmarts Zaroff and kills him in an act of self defense. The general would have kept hunting Rainsford if Rainsford wouldn't have killed him
- "Im sorry but I had too. there is no other way."
