Later that night the people of Troy brought the horse inside the gate with the men hidden inside because they considered it a victory gift from the Greeks, and the people of Troy were all sleeping.
During the night, the Greek warriors snuck out of the horse and let all of the other Greek warriors who pretended to leave inside the gate.
