  • The Indigenous went through a lot, Their children were taken
  • Why?
  • Give the kid
  • The children had no idea what was to come
  • They thought that it was just a normal school
  • Their culture was stripped from them, To rid the kid of the Indian
  • If they misbehaved they would be punished in horrible ways
  • Or they would die trying to escape and never be seen again
  • Some would even die there and be buried by the school
  • If some did get out or escape, They had no idea where their home was
  • Giving themselves and their kids a horrible lives
  • Some turned to stance abuse to cope with the trauma
