"Amadeo! You need to practice if you want to get better at violin!"
I hate practicing!
Step 3 and 4/5
"I can make you sound like a professional, and you won't need to practice a single note ever again!"
"Why am I doing this?"
Three hundred years ago, in Cremona, Italy, there lived a boy named Amadeo. Everyday, his mother would hopelessly try to get him to practice his violin, but he would always refuse.
Step 6: Challenge 1
"I admit that taking your offer was a mistake. I want my soul back."
Amadeo's classmate, Alessandro, tempts him with an offer that will allow him to never practice again. Amadeo, being so desperate to not practice, took the offer.
Step 6: Challenge 2
"A sorcerer from my school cast a spell upon me that allows me to have the violin skill of a professional. In return for the spell, I gave the sorcerer my soul. He said the only way to get rid of the spell was to learn the importance of hard work. What did he mean by this?"
Although Amadeo is very good at the violin, whenever he plays now, he feels lifeless and purposeless.
Amadeo goes to Alessandro to find a way to get rid of the spell. Although Alessandro doesn't give Amadeo very much hope, he keeps trying.
"I thought you would say that. In order to get rid of the spell, you must learn the importance of hard work-- but you never will."
Not knowing what to do, Amadeo goes to a family friend, Antoine Stradilari. Stradilari explains what Amadeo needs to do in order to get rid of the spell.
A sorcerer like that knows what you are thinking and feeling. You need to become driven with the motive to work hard and succeed. Then, he will lift the spell.
