The author of the book is Gordon Korman. The comic strip is by me Benjamin Bogden
This picture shows what all the houses in Serenity are the same and look the same. This represents Serenity as the perfect community.
This is the letter Randy leaves for Eli about how there is something screwy going on in Serenity. This is where Eli starts getting suspicious about Randy, the town, and everyone else in Serenity.
Eli - I'm not going to live with my grandparents. I'm being sent away to boarding school at McNally Academy in Pueblo, Colorado. I think it's because of what happened when we went out on our bikes that day. I can't explain how, but I get the feeling that some of the kids in Serenity - including you - are special, and I'm not. Nobody will say why, but somehow that bike trip was okay for me but not for you. I'm positive the answer lies in why you got sick and I didn't. Maybe the special people can figure it out. I sure can't. Since you're reading this, you were smart enough to follow the clues. Thanks for that. I'm not allowed to contact you, so I guess this is the only good-bye we're ever going t to have . Protect yourself, Eli. There's something screwy going on in that town. - Randy
This is the Plastics Factory. This is where the kids look for the answers first about the screwy things Randy talks about in his letter.
How do we get in there?
We need to get in there!
Let's go through the door on the roof.
Good thinking, Malik!
This is where the kids find the whiteboard in the Plastics Works Factory and it has the pictures and information on the Osiris kids since the day they were born.
Hey look that's me on the board. Why am I on the whiteboard?
This is the day they escape Serenity on Serenity Day. While everyone is eating ice cream and watch the fireworks.
This is the very end where they meet Randy in his dorm room at McNally Academy and they know and realize they are safe ( for now ).
