Finally, COVID is gone, and I can actually get together with a bunch of my friends.
I think it would be thrilling to have a party; however, what kind of Party?I know! Since it is fall it has to be a Halloween party.
Joe grabs his cell phone and texts as many friends as possible. He talks outload as he writes "Hey guys! The coast is clear; there is no COVID near. How about a party to cheer that we can all finally stand near? Meet at my house for a Halloween party." He hits send and is over the moon (hyperbole) excited.
I'm so elated you all came but it's supposed to be a Halloween Party not a Hello Kitty Party?
"It is a different idea, but we are all game!"
Joe's friends receive the invite.
"Yea! I'm excited but?"
"Did you get Joe's text?"
The day of the party has arrived. As Joe is standing by the door, he looks out the window at his friends who have just arrived. The only thing he can say to himself is "What are they wearing?"
They are all dressed like Hello Kitty?
Arrghhh! I hate autocorrect!
Whether a Halloween party or a Hello Kitty party, it did not matter to Joe. After the long long wait for COVID to move on, nothing could be better than hanging out with his friends. Even if they did look silly!
