Hello, I am Charles Pillsbury and these are my kids, Isabella, and Carson. My partner and I invested almost all of our money to build this farm so we could try flour milling. As I work on the farm, My wife watches our kids.
After a lot of hard work, I am so happy to say that our wheat is growing and soon will be able to make out flour. The Thing my partner and I are most worried about are the harsh winters and grasshoppers.
We moved to a lake for a little bit wash the wheat. We found more people to work at the mill and we have started milling!
After we moved back to our farm the help helped us go from 300 to 3,000 bags of flour and we started making a profit.
By the end of the 1800's our state was known as the leading wheat state. My team and I were making so much more flour than before and have been growing wheat for the last 30 years .
My industry is flour milling. People use it in many things from baking to crafts. Without flour everything would be runny and you wouldn't be able to cook it because it would be liquid with a little bit of powder
