Overproduction: There is a lot of animals and their parents had them hoping they can survive and pass on their genes so the animals that do will have a greater chance of surviving.
Differential Survival: In this environment there has been a change and the animals need to adapt in order to survive and pass on their genes so they gray animals have a higher chance of surviving since they can camouflage.
Variation in traits: There is no doubting that in this environment there is diversity there are animals that are gray and some that are brown there is chance for both species to survive but only one will dominate or survive more than the other animal.
Change in Gene Pool: The animal that is surviving will pass on it's genes and those will have offspring and pass it on and on and on starting a new generation and in this situation there is more of the gray animals than the brown one so just by this it might be likely that the gray survive and pass on the genes which mean s seeing more gray animals.
