A newly maried couple share a bond: they both love animals. This leads to them getting many pets.
The husband in the couple loved their black cat most of all. It was named Pluto.
As time went on, the man grows in his insanity, drinking every day. Pluto understood this and moved away from him.
The man, still drunk, takes this as an insult and gauges out the cat's eye. The socket in which the eye was at mended over time. He would later hang the cat from his basement roof boards.
Whe drinking at the inn, the man sees a cat just like Pluto, his prevous. He loved it and asked the innkeeper if he could have it. The innkeeper couldn't recall seeing such a cat.
After some time, the man, drunk again, is angered by Pluto. He reaches to gauge out the other eye, but his wife stops him. He turned the knife on her, stabbing her in the heart. He would later be sentenced to death by hanging.
