I think we should compromise and have some power in the central government, but also leave some control to the states. The operations of the federal government will be most extensive and important in times of war and danger; those of the state governments, in times of peace and security.
One hour later, some basic things had been decided, but there were still some issues...
We have decided so far, that we will have a document named the Constitution. Should it be organized with strong state power or strong federal power?
I agree, that idea will prevent a monarchy like back in England.
I am still not sure about this idea. I think it will still turn into a Monarchy. A well-governed state is as fruitful to all good purposes as the seven-headed serpent has been said to be evil; when one head is cut off, many rise in the place of it
I think we should have a strong central government, structured with different levels, that are all equal in power and all balance each other out.
Ok, as long as I can keep slavery!
I'm glad that has been decided, now onto our next issue..
This comic is not an accurate representation of the Constitutional Convention, who was there and who said what, but all facts presented are true (I think)
