Oh that's a tick! lets take that off as quickly as possible or you might get lyme disease. Lyme disease is a illness transmitted by deer ticks caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi. If a tick gets on you for too long you can get symptoms and you have to take antibiotics for 10 days to three weeks.
"Do you want to go outside Puffy? Okay."

I am going to eat some grass. Munch munch.
Scratch. Whats this bump? It hurts. "Oh hi Poppy. I have this weird bump and I don't know what it is."
Oh no! But you said if I take medicine I will get better? What symptoms?
Maybe. But it might not even be stuck on yet. Let me see if I can get it off. Pick. See it's off. Don't worry, normally people don't develop symptoms if it wasn't on for 12 hours.
You get sick and develop symptoms such as joint pain, rash, fatigue, fever and headache.
Oh thank goodness! Do I still need to take medicine?
Will that happen to me?
gSo to prevent from getting lyme disease, check yourself daily and try not to go in tall grasses or areas with no leaves. Also, if you ever do get lyme disease be careful because you can pass it on to your baby if you are pregnant.
I lick myself daily so I am already checking for ticks! The problem is that after I throw up hairballs....ugh.
