- When you go to the store and buy a t-shirt, you probablly dont think about the pocess that went along with this peice of clothing. A t-shirt is more than just a peice of clothing. It took a journey across the world in order to be picked, threaded, and manufactured and this process was done by hundreds of people.
- The first step to making a t-shirt is the process of growing and collecting the cotton. This is a crucial step to this process because it is what the t-shirts are being made out of. There is a truck that collects all the cotton being grown and then send it off into a machine that cleans out the cotton in order to be threaded and made into t-shirts. These cotton frams are mainly found in Mississippi, where one cotton farm can make up to allmost 9 million t-shirts.
- The second step is for the cotton to be spun into thread. The process is done by a machine. The cotton is threaded into strands in order to be turned into fabric for the t-shrits to be made out of.
- The next step to this process is boxing. Once the t-shirts are finsihed being made they are then boxed and shipped out for people to retailers to buy and sell to customers.
- Finally, the t-shirts are in stores where they are dstributed to store in order for customers to purchase. We don´t think about the process behind these when we are buying them. These shirts go through many steps in order to get to where it is, and many people work hard to give you these items of clothing.
