  • Parents pass down genetic traits that are different variety amongst siblings. Such as color, wing span, variety of body sizes and the ability to have a speedy lift off.
  • Birds who can't take off fast enough or blend it are eaten by predators
  • Birds with gray feathers live longer as they are able to blend in with the forest.
  • When parents pass their genes down to their offspring. As time went on birds passed the genes of their coloring and ability for speedy flights
  • As birds they have a variety of genes, one common and most noticeable genetics would be the different varity of color on each bird
  • Darker colored birds are most likely to produced compared to lighter colored birds.
