  • Well first it will start off as a bill which can be proposed in either The House of Representative or the Senate.
  • Inside the House of Representatives
  • Where are we?
  • We are in the house of Representatives this is where they will vote on the bill.
  • This is also where the Senate and the house discuss on how to improve the bill.
  • Outside of Congress
  • Let me guess, we are at the White House again?
  • No, we are at Congress. Once the bill is passed through the committee  it is taken here to be presented in front of Congress and is voted on again.

  • So what is the next step?
  • The bill is taken to the Senate and the committee and they hold hearings and make changes to the bill.
  • American Flag
  • Whats next?
  • Then the bill has to pass in both houses to make it to the president.
  • Presidents Office
  • Are we in the Presidents office?
  • Is this the last step on how a bill is made a law?
  • Yes, but if the president vetos it the bill can be changed and will have to do the steps all over again.
  • Yes, this where the president will get the bill and choose whether he will veto it or pass it.
