  • THE MAYANS
  • This is where we live
  • MAYAN ACHIEVEMENTS
  • We made these.
  • September
  • We made rubber too
  • More achievements
  • Medicine was very important.
  • It also was important to our families.
  • The Mayans lived in Central Mexico and they lasted for 1200 years. The Mayans mysteriously disappeared in 850 C.E.
  • MAYAN Theories
  • The Mayans had many achievements like vulcanization. They used vulcanization to rubberize materials. They also made the achievement of a 365 day calendar. The calendar told them when to plant their crops, and the days.
  • Which theory?
  • Another Mayan achievement is that the Mayans made antibiotics. They used this to heal their pain they had. It was very important to them.
  • Thanks for reading
  • These are the theories of how Mayan culture ended. First, Famine could of wiped out the Mayan culture. Second, war could have lead to the end of the Mayans because there is proof of that. Third and fourth, severe climate change could have ended the Mayans. Also, disease could have ended Mayans. I don't think that climate change could have wiped out the Mayans because their building would have been destroyed.
  • I think the Famine theory is the correct one for these reasons. First, they used a bad farming technique called chop and burn. Thirdly, chop and burn eventually destroys the ground and the soil. That is why Famine is the best theory.
  • The Mayans were fun to research and write about.
