  • The setting of "The Tell Tale Heart" is the olden days at the old mans house. The characters are the old man and the narrator
  • Climax
  • The conflict is internal and external. Protagonist vs. Antagonist is the narrator vs. the old man. 
  • Falling Action
  • The narrator decides to kill the old man and watches the man at night for 7 days. On  the eighth night he accidentally wakes the man. 
  • Resolution
  • The narrator sees the old mans eye when he turns on the lantern and points it in his eye and violently kills the old man. 
  • The narrator cuts up the body and hides it under the floorboard and the police arrive. 
  • The narrator starts to hear his own heartbeat but thinks that its the old mans and starts to get worried. He confesses to the crime and tells them where the body is.
