The sperm are let out into the vagina 250 million strong trying to find the cervix. On their way there their are harmful acids ment to destroy them.
As only 3,000 strong now, imediatly as they enter the uterus they are attacked by white blood cells who mistakingly think they are deseases. They must get past them and make their way to the fallopean tube
The cervix helps the sperm up to it buy giving them a lift. Their are only around 60,000 alive now
The sperm navigate through the cervix and it's tens of thousands of little passages to try to get to the end.
The Sperm enter the uterus and have to find their way to the fallopean tubes through an area much larger than the vagina. the sperm must also match a certain criteria to enter to fallopean tube.
The sperm get nurishment in the fallopean tube as they wait for the egg, oce the egg is released they will make a mad dash for it and whoever get there first is the one who fertilizes it.
Only about a dozen sperm have made it through to the fallpopean tube. Here they get energy back so they can continue to the treasure that awaits them just ahead.
A sperm has now fertilized the egg and the egg has now made its way back to the uterus where it will grow until ready to go into the outside world.
A sperm has made it to the end of the fallopean tube and obtained a treasure greater than they imagined, a baby, this baby now travels back to the uterus to grow.
