  • 1. William of Orange was the Dutch leader. Involving him was dangerous because of his intentions. 2. The Glorious Invasion was where there was almost no bloodshed. England and France.
  • 3. The Bill of Rights set forth Parliament's right to make laws and to levy taxes. They included instituting martial law, quarter troops, and imprison citizens without cause.
  • 4. The Toleration of Act was granting Puritans but not Catholics the right of free public worship. This changed England because very few English citizens would ever again be persecuted for religion.
