Ratio Holiday Problem (2)

Storyboard Text

  • Christmas is coming! I usually have 120 dollars to spend on all my 10 family members and friends.
  • This year, I only have to buy half of those people gifts with half of the money I usually have. How many people do I have to buy gifts for, and how much can I spend?
  • So I can do 120:10=60:5,I only have to buy 5 people things, using $60!
  • BONUS!!
  • If I choose to buy my other 5 friends + family gifts, with 30 extra dollars, what is the ratio of dollars to presents, and how much do I spend on each remaining member?
  • The ratio of dollars to presents will be 30:5, and I will spend $6 on each person!
  • Thank you for reading/watching!
